A record setting enrollment campaign for Saint Peter’s University

Role: Lead Designer / Design Director
Award: Graphis Design Annual, Silver

This visual identity for Saint Peter’s University is designed to bridge the gap between a historic Jesuit mission and the gritty, evolving energy of its Jersey City home. Rather than a traditional academic rebrand, the culture-inspired system allows the institution to inhabit the urban landscape with authority.

The campaign helped achieve the highest enrollment in 25 years. The 2023-24 academic year saw 3,673 undergraduate students, including 769 new undergraduates (453 first-year and 316 transfers).

With a high-impact Out-of-Home (OOH) campaign, the brand functioned as an architectural element within the city. With bold typography and a recognizable color system, I ensured the University’s presence was felt at a massive scale — from environmental graphics to viewbook and swag. Recognized with a Silver Graphis Award, proves that an institutional brand can, and should, enrich its environment and reflect the uniqueness of its community.
